Customize global appearance settings through the Ghost Admin interaction. These settings apply to your header, footer, and overall layout logic.
Dark mode
The theme includes a flexible color scheme switcher, allowing you to toggle the dark mode selector for your readers.
Go to the Design & branding settings in Ghost Admin and click Customize.
Navigate to Enable dark mode and toggle the setting On or Off.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Automatic Detection
The theme automatically detects the preferred color scheme from the user's browser settings and switches to the corresponding theme during their initial visit.
Dark mode logo
When dark mode is enabled, you can upload a specialized logo specifically for the dark color scheme.
Important
Ensure you upload a logo that is clearly visible on a dark background (typically a light-colored or white version).
Under the Dark mode logo field, click Upload image.
Select your dark-mode optimized logo file.
Click Save to apply.
Secondary background color
You can customize the appearance of your site by choosing a unique background color for the header, footer, and hero sections.
Navigate to the Secondary background color field.
Select your preferred color from the picker.
Click Save to update your site.
Use tag accent color
Enabling this option allows the specific tag color to override the secondary background color on tag and post pages.
Navigate to the Use tag accent color field and toggle the setting.
Click Save to apply.
Fixed header
The Fixed header option keeps your site navigation at the top of the screen as users scroll down the page.
Locate the Fixed header field and toggle the setting.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Contact form endpoint
The theme features built-in integration for Formspree.io, enabling you to create functional contact pages easily.
